Felt like that play really shifted the momentum at an uncertain time in the game. Hindsight from that point might've been that it wouldn't have mattered, but it was a huge play at the time and had to be totally demoralizing for CMU. Really shifted things from where I sat ( and drank ).

Amazing how the swings like that make a difference. Have to seize those moments and to be honest there were 2 fumbles and a nice try for a diving interception that SU didn't take advantage of before that. When the big boys give you those chances you HAVE to take advantage.

Prior to that play, I thought the game had the feeling of a 17-14, 13-10 type final score. Loved being wrong on that.

Nova gave us some chances as well(not nearly as many as CMU), and clearly no one will make the play every time, but when the ball is there for the taking you have take it away at a higher clip than we have been so far this year if you want to upset some teams on our schedule and get to 8 regular season wins.

I'm specifically talking about ND and Louisville and possibly even Pitt. In those games we have to get really close to a 100% takeaway clip when they leave it around for us to take it. Today we got 2 takeaways on about 7 chances. Gotta be better % wise because the big boys won't give us 7 cracks at it.
