After a couple of years at SU, Tony transferred back home to Southern CA and had a nice career at SDSU

Makes me wonder what's happened to other ex-SU players like Todd Burgan, Erich Santifer, Raf Addison, Preston Shumpert, Demetris Nichols, Marius Janulis, Otis Hill, Luke Jackson, Dave Johnson, Eddie Moss, Gene Waldron, Mark Cubit (remember him?), Marty Byrnes etc

I just Googled "Marius Janulis" for the hell of it, and apparently he's the Chief Technology Officer at Technium, Inc. now. Doesn't look like he pursued professional ball after he graduated.

Looks like Shumpert is still playing in Turkey.

Interesting, I just found Mark Cubit and he's the head basketball coach at Mercersburg Academy in all places - Baltimore Maryland. He had served as a coach at SU after he graduated.

I always liked Tony Bland. I'll never forget his performance against Indiana as a freshman. I was convinced he was going to be a stud after that one.
