Last time I checked UNC-Charlotte will not have a football team until 2013.

And Perkins has 5 officials set; Syracuse not being one of them; so stick a fork in that recruitment as it's over.

Scelfo is probably not on our list at this point either.

Start up programs usually recruit a freshman class, then redshirt all of them. That way, they all have four years to play once the program hits the field.

Thanks. I guess I had envisioned Charlotte going the K-State route and recruiting mostly JUCOs and transfers. I'm not sure in the current musical chairs college football conference landscape that I would want to be involved in a start-up program that will be playing as an independent.

They're positioning themselves for a BE bid when Louisville bolts to the Big 12.

I heard the BE is going to merge with the MAC so they can become the Big MAC conference
