Just speculation...HCDB is a Navy Brat. I'd be surprised if we didn't continue Fort Drum.

Also, he'll immediately get the Challenge Coin idea when proposed.

I'll reattack that late Spring with the staff. This time...we'll make more for sale...propose it is tied to Orangeyes' Golf Tourney

Excellent. I'll need a new Challenge Coin.

Sigh. We had a good run, Shafer Challenge Coin.

Thought I read in the press conference thread that Dino had mentioned continuing Fort Drum. But I definitely could be mistaken. I've had plenty of work to do in between reading the board today so might have lost track.

I haven't watched the presser yet...hope so.

That is so funny you mention that as on my commute this morning i thought about PMing you about trying to get one
Keep us posted
Thanks!

Agreed, really like my Shafer challenge coin, but it's time for a new one.
The new one...will be even nicer...that one was put together at the last minute. If SU buys in...(which I think they will) we can use Cuse trademarked Logo's etc...

I still like mine but yep...needs an update.

Didn't come up as far as I remember.

Thanks for the confirmation. Sorry for the apparent misinformation TexanMark. I don't like to do that so I'll keep my mouth shut unless I know for sure next time.

No worries...never stopped me before.

BTW, are you going to the soccer game?

Only thing military mentioned was that his father was in the Navy for 21 years. I hope they continue their special relationship with Fort Drum.
He did specifically mention Schofield and Hickam from his time in Hawaii.

Guy appears to understand tradition. Can't see where he would turn his nose up at a chance to create some buzz in the North Country and the military.

Plus my bet is that he will make his players rappel up the wall rather than down! Part of the new conditioning program...

Ole Ben would approve

Mark, please count me in for a few coins when you make your order. I hope Babers continues the good relation with the military, it's good on so many levels.

Mark, you can count me in for a couple of coins as well. You might want to look up KV coins in San Antonio. When I had my First Sergeant coins made they looked great and the cost was down at $3 a coin, that was 11 years ago though.

I could see him declaring a hiatus on the trip for the upcoming camp, since they'll have alot on their plate with the implementation of radically new systems, etc. Or maybe he'll move it to the start of camp (as others have suggested in the past) when more of the work is on basic skills and conditioning rather than system-based.
