ESPN has the 30 year head start and it was the Michigan-Ohio State game but beating College Gameday once starts the ball rolling to actual competition.
ESPN has been to SEC bias on College Gameday and Fox has embraced the Big Ten completely the same way.
It will be interesting to see who gets the CBS SEC tier 1 rights.
The SEC and ACC are aligned primarily with ESPN.
The Big Ten is aligned primarily with Fox.
The PAC-12 and Big 12 are cut in half on both stations.
I think Gameday is going to sadly put Lee Corso out to pasture and try to get a Tim Tebow or somebody like that on set.
Gameday has gotten stale since Fowler left for Musberger’s job.
