Well deserved, as much credit as Cignetti and Dillingham get, deservedly, Fran is a first time head coach who also was never a coordinator. What he did this year is as remarkable as those others. The fact that he finished 4th(?) for just the ACC coach of the year is a freaking joke

That kind of validation from people who truly love college football is pretty cool. If Cignetti was still at JMU, Fran would have won some national awards. Arguably the five best coaching jobs of the year are Cignetti, Lanning, Lashlee, Dillingham and Fran.
