Don’t know where to post this but it’s about Fran so I’ll put it here. My mom was at Drumlins yesterday and Fran was hosting a bunch of recruits and families and she just wanted to say hi and thank you to Fran because she hasn’t met him yet. Said he was super nice and introduced her and her friend to all the families and kids. She said they put so much effort into the decorations and small stuff that seemed to impress the recruits. My mom shared just how she’s lived here forever, taught at a city school for 40 years and how much she loved SU football to which one parent replied “we were dead set on going to Penn State until we have met so many people like you that this is home and how much they love Syracuse and it’s really opening our eyes and think we wanna come here now..”
Thennnn Boeheim walked in and talked to all the kids and parents and they loved that seeing JB. And my mom continued to ask Jim about retired life because they have known each other forever and she always told him it was a good life which with a grin he agreed.

Anyhow just a good story. But Fran making waves with everyone, everywhere.
