I think Donnie’s strength is his shooting touch and ability to score from everywhere.  People don’t like that he settles sometimes but he’s got great form and follow through which shows on this FTs and when he shoots over people when posting up, which he can do because his height/length. The cross court pass turnovers have to be cleaned up. Very serviceable dribbler but I wouldn’t call him a great ball handler… yet.

I’d say the best similarity to Giannis is ability to draw fouls working inside. And it seems he’s really turned up his competitive side/motor since returning.

As for another player comparison, I’d have to think about it. He’s surely our best player though and has been for 2 years, that’s a fact.
