It's part of Hopkins' recent foray into the social media world, another platform for the energetic assistant to display his, well, energy. Not surprisingly, he excelled. He also used a lot of exclamation points and capital letters.
Hopkins' Twitter chats are nice because they provide some inkling of where the head coach in waiting will likely take the program when/if he takes over. He's done one with Syracuse.com and this is his second with Nunes...

Syracuse Splits Doubleheader with Canisius cuse.com)
The Syracuse softball team won the second game of a doubleheader at Canisius to salvage a split with the Golden Griffins on Thursday, April 24.
After dropping the opener between the two teams, Syracuse (22-23) cruised to an 8-0 win in the nightcap behind a four-hit shutout from freshman Christina Clermont. The first game, Syracuse jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning, but Canisius (14-26) battled back to score four runs in the sixth to steal the win from the Orange.
Syracuse started the second game off the same way as the first, getting a three-run homer. This time was different, though as the Orange kept adding to its total for the final score of 8-0. SU put the leadoff runner on in six of the seven innings and scored five of those times...

NCAA News: Unlimited Snacks, No Trasnfer Waivers, Suggested Stipends (PS; Carlson)
The NCAA Division I Board of Directors voted on Thursday to close a loophole that allowed athletes to avoid sitting out a season if they transferred due to difficult family or life circumstances.
Instead, players transferring for those reasons will be required to sit out the next season, like all transfers, while receiving an extra sixth year to complete their four seasons of eligibility. The policy will go into effect in the 2015-16 season.
The change was made in part to "reduce concerns about abuse of the waiver process and inconsistency in decisions," according to a release from the NCAA...
