C.J. Fair was not drafted.

Below is a look back at our live coverage of the draft:

Andrew Wiggins Selected 1st Overall by Cleveland; Outfit Raises Eyebrows (PS; Carlson)

The Cleveland Cavaliers, picking first for the third time in four years, selected Kansas guard Andrew Wiggins with the first overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.

Wiggins, a true freshman for the Jayhawks, joins a team led by point guard Kyrie Irving that finished 10th in the Eastern Conference, just two spots out of the playoffs. The Cavaliers lucked into the top overall pick via the NBA's lottery system.

Wiggins' presence should give Cleveland a second star to pair with Irving, a two-time all-star point guard in just his third season in the NBA.

Wiggins was widely considered the No. 1 high school player when he arrived at Kansas and did little to diminish his star with the Jayhawks. Wiggins finished sixth in the Big 12 in scoring, averaging 17.1 points, and he was the conference's Freshman of the Year.

Best and Worst Suits of 2014 Draft (PS; Carlson)

Basketball may come first but fashion comes a close second during the NBA Draft.

Often known for their love of sneakers, the NBA's newest millionaires spend the month ahead of the draft splurging in an effort to make a splash on the most important night of their lives.

Kansas guard Andrew Wiggins, the No. 1 overall pick, kicked off the draft in style with what seemed to be a velvet, floral print suit.

Tyler Goes From Snow Capital to Valley of the Sun (PS; Carlson)

After growing up near Toronto, attending high school in New Jersey and spending one year at Syracuse University, Tyler Ennis will have to get used to snow-less winters.

The Phoenix Suns selected Ennis with the No. 18 pick in the 2014 NBA draft here at the Barclays Center on Thursday night.

"This is probably going to be my first year not seeing snow,'' Ennis said of his new home in Arizona, "but I think change is good.''

Ennis, a 6-foot-2 point guard, became the 21st player in Syracuse history to go in the first round of the NBA draft.

Report: Toronto Raptors Looking to Trade with Phoenix for Tyler Ennis (PS; Carlson)

Tyler Ennis predicted that Toronto would be one of the two teams that would pick him in the NBA Draft.

The Phoenix Suns drafted him No. 18 but there's still a chance that the Canadian point guard ends up in his home country. David Aldridge reported on Twitter that the Raptors are working on securing Ennis' rights in a trade.

Jerami Grant Slips to 39th, Ends Up Picked by 76ers (PS; Ditota)

The Philadelphia 76ers made Jerami Grant the 39th pick of the 2014 NBA Draft Thursday night, ending a long night of waiting for the former Syracuse forward.

Grant was the second Syracuse underclassman selected Thursday night, after Phoenix chose Tyler Ennis with the 18th pick. The selection reunites Grant with Michael Carter-Williams, a former teammate and friend from Syracuse.

The Grant grab ended weeks of speculation about the former Syracuse forward. When Grant declared for the draft after his sophomore season at SU, he was projected to go somewhere around the 20th pick. But his lack of an NBA position — at almost 6-8 in shoes and 214 pounds, he's too slender to bang with NBA power forwards and not skilled enough at this point to play the multifaceted small forward — likely caused a precipitous drop in the perception of NBA personnel.

Shunned. CJ Fair Goes Undrafted Despite Leading SU In Scoring (PS; Carlson)

C.J. Fair was the leader of the Syracuse men's basketball team, but the 6-foot-8 forward went undrafted in Thursday's NBA Draft.

Fair now begins the difficult process of trying to make the NBA as an undrafted free agent. Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim was reasonable about Fair's chances to stick in the NBA saying before the draft: "He's just got to get to the right place. He's physical, he's strong, he can shoot 15 footers and make them. He's a tough guy. Good competitor. There's probably 20-25 teams he'd get cut. But there might be three or four that he can make the team."

Fair, his family and some friends all attended the draft. They sat about eight rows up from the floor in a section reserved for potential draft picks. From that area, Clint Capela, K.J. McDaniels, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, and Walter Tavares were all selected...

76er Draft Pick Elfrid Payton Poses with MCW at NBA Basketball Draft Last Night While Still On Same Team

MCW's Future with 76ers More Secure After Philadelphia Trades Draft Pick (PS; Carlson)

The Philadelphia 76ers picked Michael Carter-Williams in the 2013 NBA Draft. They looked to have picked his replacement just a year later.

The 76ers were rumored to be looking to trade Carter-Williams entering the draft, and their pick of Louisiana-Lafayette point guard Elfrid Payton at No. 10 did little to change the uncertainty surrounding the former Syracuse star.

After a few minutes of uncertainty, though, word trickled out from reporters David Aldridge and Andy Katz that Payton would be on the move, part of a proposed trade to Orlando for No. 12 pick Dario Saric. Draft trades are not official until they are approved the next day by the league.

"I'm not really sure if I'm going to be moved or not," Carter-Williams said during an ESPN interview after the pick. "I'm sure (general manager) Sam Hinkie and Coach (Brett Brown) have a plan. I'm sure whatever is best for me is going to work out."

Which is why the current system stinks. Players should retain their amateur status at least through the draft. Really it should be until they sign a contract. if they don't get the draft status they wanted or the deal they wanted, they should be able to come back and play for their college team. Jim Brown and Jim Ridlon had already been drafted when they played in the Cotton Bowl.

Pretty sure that is how baseball does it and I like the idea too.

I'm actually shocked that no one has taken the NCAA to court over this. These young men's careers and educational opportunities are destroyed simply because they went on an interview with the NBA.
