Hola,

We (TexanMark, cuseguy, etc.) are planning on grabbing dinner and drinks on Friday night at Trinity in Hoboken.

I will make reservations. I was thinking that 6pm sounds about right (if the majority of people want to make it later, let me know, otherwise I'll stick with 6pm). Hopefully they can accommodate all of us. If not, we'll have to figure out an alternative.

If you want to come, please reply to this thread with the total number of people who will be in your party. EDIT: Since this is the after-work crowd and it's Hoboken, I don't know that bringing children would be appropriate. I'll leave that up to you to decide.

I will set the deadline at 5pm on Thurs 9/6.

Thanks.

Update:

So far I have the following commits:

Frozen
cuseguy
TexanMark
JeremyCuse x 2
"Sean A. from Maryland" x 6

If there are others please let me know. And please let me know if 6pm does not work for you. Thanks.

Frozen, you may want to push it back by a half hour or hour with a lot of people coming in from upstate and out of town I wonder if traffic could become issue for some and if 6pm might be cutting in to close?

I'm good with whatever time people want. Reservations have not been made yet.

Mayb 630? Allows an additional half hour for people and time for rush hour traffic to clear.

Ok. Only difficulties I see are that the place may not take reservations for parties larger than 12. We may have to get a table for 12 and another for the spillover.

How many are we at right now?

Eleven:

Me
You and your lady
TexanMark
cuseguy
Sean from Maryland (six in his party)

Not sure if cuseguy is coming with his bro. Nobody else has given me a solid yes yet.

They maybe able to put together two large tables but like you said at worse we could get two tables right next to each other. I would explain the situation I am sure the restaurant would accomodate us as long as we dont get into the 20's.

For what it's worth, it seems you can make reservations for up to 20 right from their main homepage. Just thought that might be helpful for you. Wish I could be there.

I tried 12 with no problem but 13 or more does not work.

I just called the place and they said that it should be no problem to make a reservation over the phone for the kind of table we'd need. Right now I have the following confirmations:

Me
JeremyCuse and his lady
TexanMark
cuseguy
Sean from Maryland (six in his party)
LincolnCuse +1

That's 13 total so far. Window closes at 5pm today, folks. Thanks.

Ah, gotcha. Oh well, was worth a try.

P.S. - Congrats on the little one on the way!

14 so far including subarney. And I will make the reservation for 7pm unless anybody objects.

Reservation has been made for 14. Whew.

Frozen - you'd make someone a great executive assistant. ;)

Have one(six) for me.

Quite the crew, I'm sure it'll be a "Fine Mess" tonight! Let me know if anyone is going to be in Hoboken earlier (after work) say 5:30 or 6:00. I work downtown right next to the PATH station, and can get to Hoboken in 11 minutes so could meet for a few cold ones. (and it doesn't necessarily need to be at your restaurant--lots of good bars over there, although can't say I know which ones are hot these days)

I love you guys...but out of towners coming to see the Orange are spending the night before...in Hoboken, not NYC????????

I mean, I lived there for a few years. Nice town. But, you know...HOBOKEN???

It's easier, Mike. Most of the group is staying in Secaucus. Getting to Hoboken is a lot easier than going into the city. Plus, once you get in the city, you need to cab it from there. Not much around Penn Station. Hoboken is fine. No one is trying to impress a date.

Cuseguy, Mike does bring up a great point , especially as it relates to someone like TexanMark---Mark flies in to the greatest city in the world, and he spends the night in Hoboken???

If anyone wants to do something in NYC, bnoro, BK, and I are planning on going in after the game on Saturday as I'm staying in Midtown with a friend. It will either be an extreme celebration or just the typical post-loss drinks, but either way, there will be booze.
