Jim Boeheims 1000th win (yes it was NCAA), made me a bit nostalgic.
I remember as a young teenager walking from my home on Syracuse’s “Nort” side to watch Jim Boeheim and Dave Bing play at Archbold Gym. As a season ticket holder I watched Boeheim coach thru the end of an era at Manley. I watched the building of the Carrier Dome as truck loads of concrete created what would soon to become one of the most exciting venues for college basketball. And now coach Boeheim has 1000 wins.
