[I]I disagree. For starters, in the US News and World Report on the top 50 colleges, 5 are in the ACC (counting Notre Dame), and 4 are in the Big 10. Guess what? If Penn State joined the ACC, it would have 6 of the top 50 colleges, and the Big 10 would have 3 (since we were ranked in the top 50). 
 
[B]Our Alumni would love to bring back the traditional rivalries of Pitt, [COLOR=#ff6600]Syracuse[/COLOR] and Boston College, and would love the short travel time to schools in Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina. This would make it easier on all our sports teams budgets. Also, who wouldn't like a nice November game in Talahassee or Miami? [/B]
 
All the Notre Dame fans in Central Pa. would love any of the sports contests against the Irish, and that might include an occasional gridiron battle. Basketball and baseball are far superior in the ACC, although some sports like Hockey, Wrestling and Volleyball would be hurt.[/I]
