Off hand comments aside, the assessment is right. The two bigs wl need to carry the team, Duke cannot rely on the three solely.

I would expect Coack K has plans to attack the emiddle, both at the charity stripe and under the hoop as well as hitting the Orange from downtown. Teams that do both have a better chance of winning. I am not sure their driving game will be sufficient on it's own to create opportunities down low, their passing g will need to be clean, crisp and very decisive. If any team is designed to beat the Orange, Duke is.

Bullying in the paint does not work, see MSU. Long range bombing failed, see ASU, TCU and MSU. We haven't seen super slashing guards carry their team. A balanced attack with a stingy defense, like ours, is what it will take to beat the Orange.
