Need your help here. Maybe a little CJ Fair (capable inside and outside), John Wallace less the rebounding and a couple inches, Josh Pace with more outside game than he showed on The Hill.

Plays upright like Jason, glides like Lawrence and just looks comfortable and calm like Tyler.

Likes long ball like Elvir, battles like Kong. Hopefully is everything Matt hoped he'd be, minus the goofy.

Frank is a taller Scoop. Prototype combo guard.

ML is like Wes to me. (someone mentioned this in a different thread maybe.) Limited off the bounce, sweet stroke, and springs for legs. If he can man the wing defensively like Wes did in 9-10 we will be in for a big time run. Big if tho.

Size/style, Howard has always reminded me a bit of MCW. Similar flash to go along with long, athletic build. Decent shooter, but not yet consistent.

Lydon is a much better rebounder and inside player. Dirty was mostly just a shooter. Many didn't see Konecney unless people went to practice but Lydons style of play is almost a carbon copy. Konecny was a bit stronger at this point.

I agree about Southerland. I'm thinking that, in terms of the combination of size/athleticism/shooting ability, he's about the only guy anyone here has seen play who would be similar.

I still think the closest comparison to Lydon is someone like Sam Dekker, but taller and a bit better of a rebounder. So yes, I'm very high on Lydon, obviously.

I loved that recruiting class. Thought he was going to be a stud.

What are YOU looking at? Triche as a frosh--sure, they are similar. Bigger combo guards who are strong. Howard showed up easily 10 pounds heavier than his senior year of HS.

Who else from SU would you compare Howard to?
