The more i study this class the more i think that it is going to go down as one of our best in the last 8 years. For this year based on need there are five true Frosh not including the Jucos, Myles Davis, and Flash who i believe are going to contribute. At DE I think that Hilliard is going to end up being a stud. He is already 6-6 245 comes from a very competative HS and League and looks the part on film. Manley is the higher rated player but most of our DE's are shorter and i think Hilliards wing span will garner a long look this fall. I hope that our current guys and the Juco step up so they can both RS but i would'nt be shocked to see one of them playing significant minutes by mid season. TE is our weakest position. At this point we dont have any playmakers at a position that Doug loves to utilize. Both Parris and Thompson have the size and speed to contribute and i would'nt be surprised to see one of them starting by the end of the year. Long term they should be our best tandom at TE in recent memory. Provo was good but these kids are coming in bigger than Provo was as a 5th year senior and i bet they are just about as fast. Can't wait to see them in a few years. The other dark horse is Morris. The kid didnt come all the way to CNY from the Peach state to sit. He is on film the best true every down back we have recruited since Mr Ohio. If Smith falters and AAM doesnt get his butt in shape look for MR Morris to see some action. I would love to see us get back to a back that can carry the load, one that gets stronger in the fourth quarter like Delone did. If not for DC we would never have made the Pinstripe bowl as that kid carried our O on his back. I have high hopes that Morris can do the same. In addition to these true frosh i fully expect Flash, M Davis, Zeus, and our All Juco DE to see significant action. Now if only our Oline can hold its own...
