Now that we've crossed the Rubicon -- we need to be realistic about market conditions and our own shortcomings as a program. Our record has not been good of late. We're in a brutal conference. Our Dome needs a major re-do. Our recruiting streams are a trickle compared to our competition. I mean ... that's a lot for an up-and-coming coach to take on.

Add to all that .. the market for coaching talent is steep. Everyone's getting bent over.  Mark's post about Western Ky.. is an example. And UCF ... choked on the buyout provisions, but they got a talented guy for a reasonable price. We're not the final destination our fans think we are ...
