FSU looked bad. Fisher had no answers. The team had no desire. I think Clemson has gotten into Fisher's head and he is being exposed for what he is, a very good coach who came up through a great system without much adversity and is now facing issues he has never seen or probably contemplated. It was easy to look great when you are winning year in and year out and have been named a Coach-in-Waiting behind a true legend. It is better to have worked up the ranks with some head coaching at lower levels and worked on great staffs. Knowing how to win and how to overcome adversity is what makes the greatest coaches so great. Contrast Fisher's career with Dino Babers' career. Baber's has had to learn many things from many coaches and many schools. There was no easy path. Yet, Babers faced adversity (on multiple fronts!) and rises to each challenge (which is why I believe that the Orange are in the right hands!) and overcomes each obstacle without losing his composure, beating himself up, losing control, or giving up. It will be interesting to see whether Fisher can overcome the issues or if he really is weak. As noted above, it the FSU kids that have sailed through HS and into college have never been truly tested and are now seeing the head games involved in football, especially at the pro level. No matter how great you were last year or at place X, it is about what are you doing now! The FSU Players need to forget the past, start fresh and play their hearts out with their minds in control. Just not next week, they can start in two weeks, or next spring, or some other time.
