FSu or BC?

who to root for.. a BC win make cause a revolt at FSU but dont want BC getting ahead of us either.. a low scoring snober knocky would be great though.

FSU having to travel to BC and then come back banged up by a tough physical game is about all we could ask..

does FSU losing give us more of a chance to beat them than BC not staying on a roll does and how they play in 4 weeks? if we are shooting for 7-8 wins then we want BC to win.. if the goal is 6 than perhaps FSU winning helps us? I still say we have not played our best game yet and we need to win one of these 2 road games to cap off a season.

I think the bigger factor is that FSU will have Clemson the week after us. I think they are pretty close to packing it in after blowing it the other day. They may not even make a bowl, and guarantee they have no interest in eeking out a trip to the Independence bowl. The biggest thing they will have left to do in the season would be knocking Clemson out of the Final 4 for good. If anything it will be a look ahead game.

I don't think we will even need it. Their QB doesn't scare me one bit passing and we have been outstanding against the run all year. I really like our chances and could be a huge step in figuring out how to win on the road.

Just imagine being able to say we beat Clemson and FSU in the same year!

They just housed a 5-1 Virginia team and Louisville. I’m not sure beating an under .500 FSU is all that much better, IMO.

I hate Addazzio - but I’ll give them credit. I thought they were going winless in the ACC.

Couple bowl eligible teams at 6 wins fighting for the better bowl game wouldn’t be bad.

Interesting question. If BC beats FSU that puts them at 5 wins with UConn most likely their 6th, making them bowl eligible before they play us in the season finale. They obviously would want to close the regular season with a win but they wouldn't likely be fighting for a bowl game, which might not be the case if the lose to FSU. Compound that with FSU potentially being psychologically done, I could see a significant benefit there for us. That being said it would boost one of our NE rivals, and if we fail to make a bowl game this year we could have some tough battles with BC on the recruiting front going forward. It most certainly is going to be a interesting game to watch.

That's where i am too... A bigtime BC/Syracuse game would be fun for northeastern football. I really hope both of us are at 6 wins when we get to the game. I think BC has UConn left so if they win this week, i think they get there.

I'm all about building up Northeastern football. Rising tide lifts all boats (that aren't captained by Greg Robinson). We would be huge beneficiaries of a stronger BC. The worm has to turn with the SEC dominating for years. We can compete with the Big 10 teams.

Record isn't everything. I believe beating FSU is bigger perception wise than the other two.

He's just a redshirt freshman. He is learning and grtting better and they will be tough down the stretch. Will be a great season ending game in the Dome.

Oh I know he’s young. But you don’t get a pass and called “very good” unless you qualify it.

Like “For a freshman who was inconsistent and threw a lot of INT early, he’s getting better” not “he’s very good”
