Rooting for Notre Dame is like rooting for the House at a casino. Florida State isn't unlikable as Jimbo is a good guy. They are doing what most universities would do with Jameis.

You just cheer and boo every play. Sometimes there are no winners. I survived VT vs. Ohio State, I'll survive this.

I find that Lou Holtz is the biggest reason I'd root against ND. He just drives me crazy on College Football Final with the ND talk.

FSU will destroy them. ND hasn't really beaten anyone this year. The one "legit" team they played was Stanford and they struggled mightily to pull out a win.

And for everyone saying "FSU really isn't the best team in the country"...just remember they still haven't lost and its tough for a team like FSU to "get up to play" schools like Wake, NC State, Syracuse...etc. They beat Clemson with a back-up QB and they beat a Top 15 team in Oklahoma St away from home. FSU is still FSU and I think they lay a whoopin on Notre Dame next week. FSU will be "up" for this game and show their dominance.

Can't root for ND. I think Brian Kelly is an ass and I actually like Jimbo Fisher and think he is a class guy

Notre Dame opponent's have 5 combined wins against teams from P5 conferences their schedule has been Charmin soft.

It will be a good indicator of just how good FSU is. This is the first game on their schedule that they will be hyped up for. I think FSU rolls.

OK State was the first game of the season and no one knew they were this good and Clemson was without Jameis. Every other game has been against significantly weaker teams, they look like they're pulling a Miami Heat "coast through the regular season act" rn.

I don't like ND but I think FSU is going to have a hard time stopping ND's passing game. They have some wideouts who will beat their press coverage and hurt them. ND's defensive front is pretty good. I do think it will be a high scoring game. Since it's at FSU you have to give them the edge. FSU isn't as good as last year and looking at some of the better SEC teams, Oklahoma, and Oregon I doubt they repeat. Plus, after the Winston hearing, he may be gone.

It's in SU's self interest to have FSU in the playoff. Don't all ACC schools get a piece of the playoff pie if the conference has a participant? If yes, it's a no brainer. If ND goes they pocket the entire payoff. Screw ND.

Holtz's non-stop "homer-ism" for ND is nauseating. I don't know if you caught Holtz on TV after the SU game yesterday but he was laughing at FSU and said ND will win big - predicted a blow out. We'll see. I'd love to see FSU hammer them.

Yeah, that's what put me over the edge with him. ESPN owns the market on pregame with game day, but there is plenty of opportunity for someone to take over the postgame market. I try to give experts the benefit of the doubt because so many people just complain about everyone. But Holtz and May does not work for me at all. Neither of them, but especially together. I like Rece, put better people around him.
