Syracuse needs to be competitive in the sport that drives the dollars. Don’t confuse that with spending like Alabama or Ohio State. I am sure Rutgers, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Northwestern and others like them appreciate the revenue they are receiving for being in their respective conferences without having to spend.
