FT's make a big difference

15/16 and 6/6 1st half

Makes a big psychological difference. And if we do our typical 3/6 in 1st half, the lead is down to 9 with 18:30 to go.

A lot of good stuff last night, but don't over look the FT's

Certainly would've loved to had a few of them down the stretch of both the Wiscy & Clemson games in regulation...2 more W's that we let slip through our fingers that should've never gone to OT.

BUMP.

Sometimes its hard to realize how important FT's are, especially in a blow out like the ND game.

We were up 12 at 1 point tonight and missed 6 FT's (including a front end FT so lets call it 7) and down 1 at the half. Even if we make 1 or 2 FT;s and the lead is 11 instead of 9, mentally can make a huge difference. In order of crappiness tonight:

1. Lydon - unquestionably the goat of the game tonight. I really started to feel bad for him when Onuaku ripped away a rebound and threw a behind the back pass. Lydon +/- had to be like -30 (exaggeration --- but yikes)
2. FT's. seems like we shoot 87% or 57%
3. Mali - just couldn't get anything going
4. roberson - why did he play so little in 2nd half?

Lydon's missed front end of the one-and-one was a big (if early) moment in the game. We needed to hold the lead through the end of the half. Not taking free points hurt.
