I think Kadary is going to become a good 'penetrate and kick out' guard in the future but he is not very good at this now.
The vast majority of his assists when he penetrates are dishes to players inside, where he draws a big to him and hits the guy left open.

His assists are also way down in recent games. I think it is largely because the scouting reports have him as a pass first guy so people have been playing off him expecting passes. As the scouting reports and the defenses adjust, his assists should starting climbing again.

We really don't have someone good at penetrating and kicking out now. This was something Elijah did really well and in particular, he was good at getting Buddy quality open 3s.

Hoping Alan, JGIII, Marek and even Buddy get better at this over time.

Yeah... that's a good thing. It's exactly what we want to happen.

And, Buddy and Joe have gotten plenty of open looks this season. And by plenty, I mean the # of looks I would want my 4th or 5th scoring options to get.
