who woulda thunk we'd win, especially handily, with kjo putting up a goose egg? who has seton hall beat? they stunk. first half the threw as many passes to our guys as their own. had to love melo tonight. pope who? melo used him. wish jb had gotten him back in for the triple double but it was probably more important to get xmas more time. we actually didn't play that well offensively in the half court and missed a ton of outside shots as well as several bunnies. shu was lucky they didn't catch us on a night we were hitting, they would have lost by 50.still worried about the rebounding on this team. but if we continue with the great dee and getting so many steals, it won't have as much an impact.

And then when we play a decent team that plays us tough (stanford), we still get the same stuff. "stanford isnt that good, we should have won by double digits"

Melo had 12, and kjo had 0.
But howbout Rak, Keita, Southerland and Fair??

A combined 30 points.

Preseason you would have thought Dion being a solid 10ppg backup for scoop and triche.

But our SF's southerland and CJ backup'ed kjo with 17 points. And Rak and Keita put up 13 behind Melo. Thats just awesome!

did you watch the game? they stunk tonight. i didn't say we stunk, but we didn't play well on offense either but were aboe to win so big because shu stunk it up in the first half with their passing.

seton hall didn't have the scorers they had theodore and Pope. that is it. That was all. And Melo took Pope out of the game.

A good scoring triangle can be good enough to make you top 5 in the league look at KU despite their high turnover ratio.
A first team all american top 5 pick with another scorer can be enough to make you dangerous in march look at kemba or BYU last year.

But theodore alone is taking you nowhere.
Got to credit our D absolutely stopping one of their two threats. Our defense earned it.

I agree Seton Hall played terrible tonight but they were 11-1. Maybe there not an NCAA tourney team but we made them look like they didnt even belong is Divison 1 basketball.

I don't know dude; they won @St. Joe's (who's very good this year), beat Auburn by 23, Wake by 14, won @Dayton, VCU by 15.

They are better than they've been, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them pull a very upsets in a very down BE. Theodore, Edwin and Pope are pretty good trio.

They are better than they've been, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them pull a very upsets in a very down BE. Theodore, Edwin and Pope are pretty good trio.

Only win out of that list that is very good is the game at Dayton. @ St. Joe's and the VCU win are commendable but nothing more. SHU will have to stay healthy and run some semblance of offense in their remaining Big East games in order to have a shot at the tourney. Rick is dead on ... although SU played very tough and good defense in the first half, SHU was awful too.

Adding edwin as part of a scoring trio makes our defense sound MUCH MORE Impressive!!

We held their second and third scoring threats of the night to a combined 7 points on 20 shots.

Edwin shot 0-11 and had all three of his points from the free throw line.

Bees, it's funny---just got back from our NYC bar, and I see Jake and Tomcat just posted as I was about to post this. So getting to the point--Melo was insane, could have easily had a triple-double, but as you pointed out in your post---much more important to get x-mas more minutes. We are going to need his rebounding at some point. (and JB doesn't care about that stuff anyway)
