FEI has us at 78, not 87. Assuming you just typed it up backwards. I only know because I googled it to see how it worked.

Using these rankings to predict our number of wins by the end of the year looks like this:

SRS - 9 wins
/+ - 5 wins
S&P+ - 7 wins
FEI - 4 wins
FPI - 9 wins
TCR - 10 wins

Average - 7 wins

I see Florida State at 28, not 16... What are we missing?

I reeeeeeally hope that NC State is coming to the Dome to play a Syracuse team that's no worse than 6-1. That could be a lot of fun.

I also hope that ND is going to NYC to play a Syracuse team that's no worse than 9-1, but yeah, I realize I'm just getting stupid greedy now.

First one has legs based on the opponents. But would take the first win at Pitt since 2001.

Nice. What I got out if that, is at worst, there is only a 12% chance we don't go bowling. The same percentage(at worst) of winning 9. As high as a 32% chance to win 9, or more. ;-)

The disparity between ND’s actual statistical performance and there rankings is what really stands out to me. It smells of rigging by assumption
