That's what I'm still wondering? Is he eligible for this year or do we still have to wait for the ncaa to clear him for this year?

I would imagine that if the coaches expected Funderburk to play this year, he wouldn't be sharing a number with Deon Goggins.

Quinta Funderburke is on the roster, but sitting out 2013. John Raymon, as we reported earlier, is still in the waiver process
Wrong offense and defense can wear the same numbers.
Of course they can. You just don't see many numbers shared by guys that are in the two deep. Leads me to believe he won't be playing this year.
Wow off the chart good news. Is he able to play this year? Im really pumped about this kid great get by Doug and staff on Funder and all of the transfers. Two four stars, depth at DT and a speedster at WR fantastic job by DM and the staff.
Was listed at 240 in Iowa's media guide last year. Wow!John Raymon 313 lbs.? What?!

Ya, was mentioned in that Syracuse.com article. Sounds like a DT now.John Raymon 313 lbs.? What?!
As johnny Carson would say, "I did not know that!"Wrong offense and defense can wear the same numbers.
PTG and Whigham are both #23. Would imagine both see the field in some capacity this year.
I can't see Whigham getting playing time. Would be wiser to redshirt.
Perhaps I'm confusing him with another player. Thought he was one of the young guys that redshirted last year.
Whigham is a true freshman.
