Funderburk #13 on the roster

Wow off the chart good news. Is he able to play this year? Im really pumped about this kid great get by Doug and staff on Funder and all of the transfers. Two four stars, depth at DT and a speedster at WR fantastic job by DM and the staff.

That's what I'm still wondering? Is he eligible for this year or do we still have to wait for the ncaa to clear him for this year?

I wouldn't plan on him getting clearance this year. If he does, consider it a bonus.

He can practice this season, and be ready to go for 2013.

Really hope it's a misprint and he's 231. Or something. Even with a college S&C program and the freshman 15, he's gonna have a gut of Jameel Dumas proportions. And man boobs of PeteCalvin stature.

I would imagine that if the coaches expected Funderburk to play this year, he wouldn't be sharing a number with Deon Goggins.

Wrong offense and defense can wear the same numbers.

Offensive and Defensive players can share numbers. Mungwa and Lemon would have shared #15.

Good to see number 99 listed as well

Quinta Funderburke is on the roster, but sitting out 2013. John Raymon, as we reported earlier, is still in the waiver process

I'm going to assume they mean he will sit out 2012.

For those of us that were recent graduates or current students, the name Shanley sounds awful familiar... Must be Officer Joe's son.

Of course they can. You just don't see many numbers shared by guys that are in the two deep. Leads me to believe he won't be playing this year.

PTG and Whigham are both #23. Would imagine both see the field in some capacity this year.

No kidding--now that you put it that way, that reallyis an impressive "haul" considering all four of those players came via non-traditional recruiting channels.

Was listed at 240 in Iowa's media guide last year. Wow!

Maybe they never updated their roster last year.

I can't see Whigham getting playing time. Would be wiser to redshirt.

Perhaps I'm confusing him with another player. Thought he was one of the young guys that redshirted last year.

Whigham is a true freshman.

For whatever reason I had him grouped in with Desir and Eskridge. Tough problem to have with us having so many promising DB prospects that I confuse them.
