I think if we’re looking at our offense, completion % doesn’t mean a lot.  Maybe it shows we’re way too conservative in our passing game.

I think stats people want to see improve vs FBS is:
- Scoring offense = 95 (tied with Pitt)
* really the stat that matters.  I’ll take a poor completion % and 24th in scoring all day long.  
- Total offense = 87
- 3rd down Conversion = 85
- Red zone conversion = 121 (tied with Rutgers)
* This has been the Achilles heel for DB 3/4 years.  We’ve ranked terribly in red zone conversion

I think these are the stats people want to see improved.  These stats matter more for our win/losses than having a top 25 completion %.  It’s how people think the offense is close to a breakthrough because they’re just watching passes get completed.  It feels good but the important stats are scary so far this year.
