I think the opposite - the more conjecture about us being in, the more illogical it makes our exclusion from the committee perspective. If every pundit says we are out, it just becomes perfunctory to exclude us.I liked it better when no one thought we were in except a handful of people on this board lol. I feel the more we pick up steam the more likely we for a let down.
We are 61 in KPI -- by far the worst at-large team by that metric -- that worries me

Our only saving grace is our record vs the top 50. It's comparable or better than many other teams in the field. We really could use A&M and Yukon to win today, although I think the Yukon game might be played too late which could ultimately keep us out of the tourney. That would suck if it's all Yukon's fault.I liked it better when no one thought we were in except a handful of people on this board lol. That's far from our only saving grace. There's also the fact that Syracuse's RPI (71) is an outlier when compared to their Sagarin (40), KenPom (40) and BPI (39). Last year the committee ignored the RPI in those instances. Our only saving grace is our record vs the top 50. It's comparable or better than many other teams in the field. A UConn win would help our numbers slightly, but it's not like if UConn won all of sudden it'd put us in. That game is not too late because if Memphis wins, a an at-large team will be losing a spot. Our only saving grace is our record vs the top 50. Yep. Our 3 worst losses were without JB. Our worst loss with JB on the bench is @FSU.That's far from our only saving grace. Also, Boeheim's absence. RPI of 29 under Boeheim (15-8), no losses in the Top 100.
Yes, but we would still need Yukon to win. We could easily be considered the last team in and if Memphis wins we would be out. We really need Yukon to win. That way it should eliminate any doubt.A UConn win would help our numbers slightly, but it's not like if UConn won all of sudden it'd put us in. No doubt. UConn winning helps us more because it keeps an at-large spot open, it really has nothing to do with helping our RPI.Yes, but we would still need Yukon to win. True but every time Yukon wins, it's another feather in our cap. Let's go Yukon. Let's go Yukon. All I know it would really, really suck if we were the last team out if Memphis wins and takes our spot. My hate for Yukon would be off the charts. No doubt. If we don't get in it's not because we got screwed, it's because of the losses we had. I don't really think any of us will hold a gripe with the committee no matter the resultIf Memphis wins its our fault (not actually OUR fault...but you know what I mean) for losing to turd teams.

How would you possibly know that? No need to answer because you don't (none of us do). I believe, and it is certainly only a guess (but probably a good one) - Yukon needs to win.The Yukon and A&M games have no bearing on our fate. We're either in right now or we're not. That has already been decided except for maybe Memphis winning today. That could have impact.
Lunardi has made it clear the games JB missed dont matter to him. if you remove those we are not even on the bubble. but to ignore them as being a factor in the season is just wrong.
One of my issues with Lunardi is the process he seems to go through.Lunardi has made it clear the games JB missed dont matter to him. if you remove those we are not even on the bubble. but to ignore them as being a factor in the season is just wrong.

He has his first bracket, what, early January? So he starts a team as say a 5 seed, then if they have a 0-3 week, he moves them down to an 8...and he does this for 2 months. I feel like Lunardi almost treats it as power rankings or something. I definitely don't get the feeling that every single he looks at resumes and re-seeds based on the new information.
What did they say? They have us first in over all the other teams.
