For those who are not traveling to the bowl game assuming we are playing in NYC again (I am raising my hand) I will go to the basketball game and watch the bowl game on my phone.  Best of both worlds.  To say that a basketball game against an undefeated ranked team (major rival to boot) regardless of what time of year we play them (seeing we may actually be #1 in the country by then) is meaningless is a crazy statement.  Thats like saying the Clemson game on October 5th was meaningless because it was in October.

It isnt about abandoning anyone.  You are assuming that every fan will attend the bowl game and if we dont we should give up our fan card.  I have been to more football games (home AND away) than 75% of the people on this board going back to the early 80's but just cant travel in December to a bowl game.  Doesnt mean I cant support them by either watching on TV or on my phone while in the dome.

Am I supposed to stay home and watch both games on TV?  Does that make me more of a "fan" as opposed to possibly watching the game on my phone while in the dome?
