If Kingz is our Bell replacement, we are getting a better shooter, who also can dribble penetrate, play a little defense (plus .4 DBPM vs Bell’s “best” season of 0.0) and even rebounds, passes, and gets steals better too.

I figured the best we could do is replace Bell’s elite shooting with a better rounded player who didn’t shoot as well, but Kingz is literally what OttoinGrotto and I were banging the drum for Bell to become.

Sign me up for the Nate Kingz ExperienceTM in a heartbeat.

Obviously ALOT more needs to be done to the roster. But with the 8 guys right now that’s how it’d probably be. We’ll add a starting PG and Center in the portal. And I’m guessing an additional 2 bench pieces. We should not go into next season with anything LESS THAN 12 players

This kid is silky smooth. He’s not just a stand still shooter. You also have to respect him off the dribble. There’s a bunch of steals in these highlights too. Just waiting for an announcement.

Good summary… I fear with the current 8 guys, we’d be looking at

That’s a lineup I really don’t want to watch. Red might not be able to help himself in playing a traditional lineup with White, a top 30 recruit from the states over the 3 guard lineup with the unknown international player.

We desperately need a good point guard and center in the portal. I’m excited about Kyle, but he has weirdly low defensive rebounding, so it could be painful to watch us play three guards a lot of the time with only Freeman rebounding.

Freeman and, say, Ballard allows us to play three guards a lot of the time.

If Red and Kline can’t fill out a roster then what are they even doing here?

Given the programs lack of success recently, having the max amount of scholarships in order to find and assess talent should be prioritized

Yup. JJ, DF, +4 Fr, +4 "good" portal additions = 10 guys on scholarship and getting NIL. That is a realistic target given the reality.

Louisville got 12 or 13 new guys last season. Shouldn’t they be able to afford to bring back Petar and maybe Kyle Cuffe as depth pieces at the very least?
