[QUOTE="Knicks411, post: 239660, member: 767"] I think you are probably right about a SU team having the best chance to win a title. I guess possibly if UK gets Shabazz that could change the equation, but we don't know for sure that he is going there. Georgetown was one of the 15 best teams in the country this year. They lose Clark and Sims, maybe their 2 best players, but if Noel is as good as he's supposed to be, he can easily make up for losing Sims, and probably Clark too. They have 5 or 6 guys coming back who played solid minutes for them this year; Hollis Thompson should be real good next year. UConn won the national title going 9-9 in the BE last year. Everythign else being equal (IE, holding Noel out) I agree Gtown will probably be the third best of the teams involved, but that doesn't mean they can't win a title. I also think if you look at it from an SU standpoint, you can either overrate our guys or underrate their guys. I'm more talking about maybe some of the frosh that didn't play much lats year that we may not know too much about. (And I'll cop right now to not knowing much about their incoming recruiting class). We assume that MCW is going to be a stud, and I think he is, but a Gtown fan is probably going to look at it and say hey, this guy barely played as a frosh, now he's supposed to run the point for a national title contender? (Though Noel presumably knows how good MCW is). I guess the short version of what I am saying is I don't think you are biased to say SU would have the best chance of winning a title of the 3 teams, holding Noel to the side, but I think either of the other 2 would have a realistic chance of winning it should they land Noel.
