Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse football’s home opener against Georgia Tech in the remodeled Carrier Dome will not be broadcast live on local television Saturday. The YES Network has the rights to the game — scheduled at noon — but it will not be available in Central New York because of a conflict with the New York Yankees-Miami Marlins game at 1:05 p.m. Orange fans won’t get to experience the new stadium in-person because of Covid-19 restrictions. The game is being televised on the ACC Regional Sports Network. In-market fans will also be able to stream the game through the Fox Sports Go app, as long as they have their online sign-in info for a cable or satellite provider. If not, fans will have to wait to watch a delay broadcast on YES at midnight Saturday. Fans who live out of market can view the game on WatchESPN, streamed to their TV, tablets, mobile and streaming devices. Syracuse will also launch ‘Cuse on the Couch, a virtual second-screen show which will be accessible via Cuse.com. The page will air 30 minutes prior to each of the Orange’s six home games this season.
