So yards are slightly worse and YPP slightly better. Given that they have played 3 G5s in their other 4 games I would say this was a poor showing (and that is after taking away their biggest play).

This was an amazing job even with the big play added back. Unfortunately this has been the outlier thus far.

To be fair the entire team did not show up this game. So it wasn't just the D. But even taking away their biggest play we were bad in comparison to their averages.

The yards are way better but that is more from a lack of plays. But if you take away their biggest play, we did slightly better.

This is pretty bad. The lack of plays kept the yards respectable but the YPP was awful. And this is without their biggest play!

Going by yards and ypp, our D is average IF you take away the biggest play conceded each game. But we have done a good job NOT giving up points. Thanks mainly to being 17th nationally in Redzone TD%. Is that sustainable? Especially given that the last 6 teams are generally better on O than the first 5 (FBS only) have been?

IMO our D is going to have to step up quite a bit if we are going to beat those remaining ACC teams. I think the meat of our schedule is coming up.
