We were outmaned at every position on the field and i doubt that more than three of our players would start for them. Hickey Bromley Spruil possibly Mac or Davis. Not one other Syracuse player would start for this team. Florida state took away the run as we knew they would and we were cooked. They picked up the blitz and we were cooked. They toyed with us just like they have with everyone else they have played. BC caught them early and if they were to play again today i bet that they would beat BC by 40 or more. What i take away from this is very little. We were out classed at every position on the field save a few. Their depth is superior at every position, they have a seasoned coaching staff that is paid 3 times ours and on and on and on... If we are to ever compete with a team like this it is going to be once every 5 or so years when we catch that break or have that special player or two that can elevate us. The Freeny or the Donavan. I do believe that we are going to run the table at home and i fully expect Syracuse to be in a bowl game every year going forward. We are making strides and will continue to make strides.
