Nice adjustments at halftime let us settle into the game (FINALLY) and avoid getting blown out.  But let's not kid ourselves, these kids were living on their success of last year and were not ready for real competition.  They were lucky to remain in the game in the first half, and easily could have fallen behind by 14 or 21 when it was 6-0.

Lots of work to be done, but boy we got away with one.  I couldn't believe that we were 1-17 vs. the ACC since '96 !!  This will be a nice win when it comes time to pick bowl teams.  Also very good that Rhode Island is coming up next week.  Go Orange.

BTW, I didn't realize that CIL = Cuse Is Loose.  Guess I'll have to keep an eye on new handles for old friends.
