He was looking to deliver a hard hit on the QB, nothing more. Though obviously not as egregious, I think that, based upon intent, Kendall Coleman's helmet-to-helmet hit on Wake's QB 4 seconds after he released the ball last year was "dirtier". I don't recall anyone wanting him suspended for the remainder of the season or even charged with assault like some wanted the CMU LB. I know I'm in the minority here & this weill likely get flamed but sorry, I just don't see this as dirty & am certainly not going into that game hoping for "revenge" on a college student. I think the death threats he received from SU fans were retaliation enough but to each their own.
