People say well boeheim lost games as well. The only game JB lost that was bad was. Fsu. So in comparison to Hopkins it is different. JB won the games he was supposed to. The bad losses to teams not in tourney are from Hopkins. So committee can say we Should give cuse an extra win cause JB proved when he was coach he won the games he should have won. At st johns Hoyas and Clemson. So instead of 19-13 we look at them as 20-12. Also what if our losses were spread out? It's not the last 5 games. It's the whole season

Wisconsin was our second worse loss in my opinion. My opinion doesn't count for much, but that team was horrifically bad and even played a poor game against us and still beat us in the dome.

I suppose three losses to a bubble team in Pittsburgh doesn't help much either, but I dismiss those because Boeheim is pathologically incapable of beating Pitt so I don't even count those. But I suppose the committee probably will.

Ugh wisconsin game, dont remind me. How we managed to lose that game and the clemson game is beyond me. Although we had no business winning the va tech game.

Let me remind you. Team starts to pull away, goes into a stall to shorten the game, gives away all momentum, loses game. I hate the tactic with a passion.

Free throws in regulation. Both games we shot a poor percentage. In the Wiscy game we were 11-20, they were 11/12. In the Clemson game, which was basically deja vu, we shot 12/19 to their 10/11. Both games should've never gone to OT, 2 last second 3's by the opponents to force the respective overtime periods...which ended with the same results.

I also recall the end of regulation game tied jb drew up a play for cooney to drive. I remember screaming about that at the time. Mike G needed the ball in his hands in crunch time and other than the va tech 3 it rarely happened.

I really wouldn't place the FSU loss as bad. It was a road game, senior day, and I believe FSU was favored. Our worst loss since JB's been back was the Pitt game at home. We were favored in that game. Our last 5 losses have been to on the road to UL, UNC and FSU, along with the home and neutral court losses to Pitt. Prior to our loss at FSU, they spanked ND by 20 just a few days earlier...

That play should've never existed to begin with...if we had only hit a few more FT's in regulation. :bang:

Looking at it today, worst losess of the season were the home loss to PITT and the Clemson game.

JB was still MIA for Clemson. By far, the St. John's loss was the worst of the season.

I would also say that the Wisconsin loss doesn't look as bad now, even though it was at home. They managed to produce a decent season after they beat us. Finished in the top half of the B1G with a 12-6 record... with wins over Mich St, Indiana, Maryland, and Iowa. The killer losses for us are as mentioned - SJU, Clemson, and Gtown (all on Hop).
