Gattis

If only there was a “room” where the players could assemble away from the cameras inside the dome. Maybe in this “room” the players could keep things in secure metal cabinets. Let’s call them “lockers” if you will. Never mind, I’m talking crazy here.
So, during the game, run into the locker room, and hope you don’t miss any plays? Got it.

Yeah the old facemask grab and twist / yank while getting berated at by the D Coach for not stunting properly and fast enough
Yeah, I agree with you guys about yelling at a player, but I think Gattis should have waited for Rickie to at least get to the sideline before going full Bobby Knight on him. Running down the sideline and onto the field like an unhinged loon is a bad look. It was spotlighted on TV/media and we’re still discussing it. He should be coached to better manage his reaction.

I agree but imagine how egregious the error was by Collins that Gattis completely flipped out.

Gattis Name is floating around as the new Wr coach at Penn state. Hope that doesn’t happen he’s a critical to recruiting and a great WRs coach.

I'm beating a dead horse but it's amazing to me that coaching contracts are seemingly meaningless in college football.

If you're going to let members of your staff leave whenever they want, what is the point of adding them to your staff?

Things could change but currently don’t think he’s going to PSU
Yea I’m just saying what I saw on rivals. It’s been reported that he’s a name circling. We will see what happens

No reason

The last time we lost a WR coach, we got paid a $200k buyout fee from Oregon. So, there tend to be stipulations.

Would tend to think for Gattis to be able to go it would need to be a promotion, unless he negotiated otherwise.

Sometimes they include buyouts. They are not your HC but they definitely recoup some of the $$$

Also the contracts generally prevent the coach from talking directly with other schools while under contract IIRC.

They would need to get permission from the school in order to speak directly with the coach.

I'm sure that Agents/Middle-Men are able to communicate well before the interview request is made.

When will we be able to start trading players and maybe coaches as well? We’re close right?
