Nothing like having Joe-Anonymous tell me that I'm a fair weather fan because I'm not at the game. It's even worse on the football side where every single home game get's the obligatory "real fans don't leave early" tongue-lashing.

I'd rather schedule an appointment with Bernie Fine's Proctologist than read another ticket sale thread...

And make sure you wear Orange. ;)

Cheers,

And stand up and cheer. Don't worry about the "blue hairs" behind you.

The usher in 104 was commanding everyone to sit down on Saturday night. Those of us who watched from above were pretty surprised. I guess there were some complainers down there, but I wasn't aware that fans aren't allowed to stand when they please.

I'm in 104 but I didn't see this happen unless it was behind me. If they did do that thats ridiculous then, some people would rather act like its a 10 year olds basketball game.

It was in the blue seats, mainly the first five or six rows, during the first half. I had friends who were sitting down there and were suprised by the hubbub. It's possible that some students bought seats in 104 and 103 and stood in front of older single-game ticketholders, but I don't know why an usher would tell fans to sit.

Yeah that's pretty stupid. In 103 the front rows were standing for a bit of the first half.

I understand that people could be disappointed to have paid $75 per ticket to sit behind standing students, but SU's not doing itself any favors by instructing ushers to keep fans seated during play.
