[QUOTE="Orangezoo, post: 60388, member: 237"] Great Summary ... I had the benefit of watching as much of the game as Iphone batteries allow via my dad filming via facetime... couple of additional thoughts.. Fab - Loved the movement and aggresiveness.. I mentioned it a few weeks ago but if he could add a consistant ability a la a Tim Duncan to hit the 10-15 footer .. its pretty much unstoppable. Will be curious to see how he handles BE Centers and the physicality.. will he be able to show off his skillset more and become a menace in the middle? Baye- Wiry as all get out.. and not as aggressive on D as I would like but .. a really good rebounder. He is a rich mans Okwandu.. with a nice touch on his jumper. Both our centers have possible pro paychecks waiting for them someday. Its going to be nice that teams cannot play us strictly to go after the big guys.. the depth is great.. seems like Center is going to be one of the strongest positions on the team. Rakeem - really really raw.. plays hard though... as you said.. strictly shot blocking and cleaning up the glass. Still - he is more active than Dashonte and the early PT will be key so he can grow into a contributor.. his size and athleticism only add to the frontcourt CJ - I think he becomes the most important guy this year. Having a nice touch outside, the ability to slash to the lane and the ability to attack the glass he has it all. By mid year he is the most explosive player on the team IMO. I think this will ultimately be key to helping Kris have less of a load - a typical stat stuffing game for CJ Kris- echo the sentiments from others.. still getting his legs.. he has lots of help this year and with all the threats in the post now.. lanes should open up. Good game for him considering he hasnt really practiced Southerland - good entertainer... maybe he will have a few games where he gets hot ... dont see him contributing.. just not enough growth.. great kid though and it doesnt hurt to have a top notch athlete with a pure stroke collecting dust on the bench Mookie- you know what.. gotta love mook.. just goes out and enjoys himself.. every minute of PT is MM for mook.. still kid can shoot the lights out... another dust collecter.. but a great body for practice to help with locating shooters in the zone Scoop - solid , steady PG play. Did what he had to without forcing the issue much. I think we are in good hands this year. He has a solid handle on running the team already Brandon - I doubt we will see a lot of 2-11 games from him. He is bouncier this year and his stroke looks more fluid. Its really important he stays aggressive and looks for his shot. Next to CJ and Dion.. easily the most explosive player on this team. Dion - Reminds me a bit of the Nova guards. ala Kyle Lowry.. just fearless but at times out of control. He can flat out play.. and flat out fail at times..The swagger he brings is important.. he can get to the hole and really finish strong. The jumper will be on and off ... the key for him will be to make sure he attacks when its off.. Cooney - SWC im glad you added a positive note on Trevor.. I disagree he isnt ready to contribute.. Yes his D needs work and yes he is a little shaky but d*mn he can stroke it. He is pure offense and less of a liability than Mook/Southerland. He is not an every game type of guy.. but a guy you can use against a zone. I think he will learn quickly.. and more so than some think. MCW.. He made some mistakes.. as to be expected but he is a heck of a talent. Really understands the game and will only get better. Is a better shooter than it shows. I can easily see him at 36-40 percent from outside. Much like CJ he brings an all around element to the team that is hard to find. Point forward more than Point Guard.. love that comparison...
