yeah, nice story, but, the more important thing I got out of it was:
"Adams remained part of the team through a medical hardship waiver, which allowed him to attend Georgetown while not counting against the team’s scholarship limit."
Is this something we can use to keep Coleman on the team AND have a scholarship for Bryant?
oh, by the way, its 9:34,...AND GEORGETOWN (AND THE NCAA) STILL SUCKS!

We're not likely to get any favorable interpretations from the NCAA anytime soon. They'll do nothing that might make it look like they made a mistake.

Had the opportunity to meet and speak with JT III at the final four and walked away feeling like he is a class guy, this move proves it. Not only helping this young man get the education he deserves, mentoring him as a "coach" and then going through a lengthy waiver process to allow him to start/okay on senior day in one last game...and total class by Seton Hall in his few seconds of play as well . Restores some faith in humanity...

...but Georgetown still suck!

If I understand what youre saying, I dont think DC2 would want to sit out another season.

It was nice of Georgetown and JT3 but even a classier move by Seton Hall.

Great story. However, seeing as though it is Gtown, I would be remiss if I didn't mention this quote from the article

"You can’t trade a Georgetown degree for nothing,”

The irony of that statement.

He was not on the team as a player. The waiver allowed GTown to give him an athletic scholarship and have it not count against their 13 allotted scholarships. That's only available if you are medically unable to play.
That's why Thompson had to start a separate waiver process so that he could play the limited minutes in this game.
