Georgia has now beaten South Carolina 3 times this year why is So. Carolina a lock?

So. Carolina doesn't really have an impressive resume either.

They did beat Texas A&M on the road but lost to Kentucky at home.
Also beat Vandy and Florida at home.

Beat Clemson, Tulsa,Memphis, an St. John's(we didn't)in the nonconference.

The SEC outside of A&M and Kentucky is hot garbage but if losing to one team 3 times is DQing then South Carolina should be out unless UGA is in.

The Missouri loss was horrid.

I think they won enough games vs. good teams to get in, at least in a down year like this one. Only 1 top 50 win, but it was on the road @A&M; 8-5 vs. the top 100 is a good winning %.

24 wins in a P5 will almost never not be in.

I can imagine if SU had eked out 1 more win, and some fan somewhere else in the universe had written, "Pittsburgh has now beaten Syracuse 3 times, so why is Syracuse a lock?!?!"
