Quite simply, it's past the time to break from the JAB coaching tree and modernize the program under new leadership, with fresh ideas, approach, tactics built for the modern D1 basketball game, evolving NIL environment, and ability to recruit, reload, and reset entire rosters annually, and effectiveluy support fundraising efforts to optimize our funding sources and outlays. This is the world we are trying to survive and thrive in and we need a modern approach. We almost never do this but we NEED to now to rebuild, become relevent again, and stay competitive. Change is hard and it will be difficult, but we can and should do it now. Yes, let's rip the band aid off. It's time. [/LIST] I genuinely hope this milestone conference championship for GMAC is the first in a number of awards he gets as he builds his HC experience, and I hope his coaching trajectory continues to rise. He could certainly be a good candidate for the future for a return to his Alma Mater.
