$250K is not a ton of money in the NIL landscape.  Not for landing one’s desired player at the most critical position in the sport.  I mean, find 3 boosters and that’s $83K a piece.

Red’s primary job in this era of college hoops is to get that money, by any means necessary.  And we’re not talking about millions here.  $250K for a kid who was at Mt. St. Mary’s.

I’ll be honest, I think Red flopped here.  You just can’t lose a player like he did.  You gotta find the money, somehow, someway.

I know there’s been meetings with boosters, and budgets have been presented.  PowerPoints and everything.  But there was a lack of urgency this offseason, that much seems clear.
