Will he be the best QB to ever make an appearance in the Carrier Dome?

I have seen Doug Flutie, Dan Marino, Tony Eason, Teddy Bridgewater, Oliver Luck, Gino Torretta, Michael Vick, Sandy Schwab, Alex Van Pelt, Shane Matthews and of course Donovan McNabb, Todd Philcox, Marvin Graves and Donnie McPherson.

Who am I forgetting?

I second Pat White, he was awesome. Who was Florida's QB when they came up here and got beat?

Glenn Foley, 1993. That was a passing clinic.

Tom Brady, 1999. That wasn't.

Just missed Peyton Manning by one year.

Speaking of next year, I am beginning to think that SU Football will post their 2014 Schedule before SU Lacrosse. I know some/most of those lax games have trickled in, but to not have a schedule finalized is stupid.

Ken Dorsey (Miami FL) was a heck of a QB in his time.

Certainly had 2 great passing days in the Dome.

He won't be the best QB to ever play in the Dome. He might be at the bottom of a Top 10 list, but not the best.

He might be the best within the past decade, but not the best ever

I figure the line on that game will only be Cuse +35, easy money.

If you're going to make a statement like this, you should back it up with your own top 10 list.

Won't get to see him. Hear they're moving the FSU game to Toronto as part of an SU/Bills Saturday/Sunday doubleheader.

(Announcement coming right after Oklahoma to the Big Ten press conference.)

Hey, I would much prefer going to the Skydome than the Meadowlands any day! If the powers-that-be insist on playing a "home" game away from our Dome, I'd much rather see it played in Toronto than Joisey.

Agreed, great college QB. He put on a clinic against Cuse, a couple of times.

I'm going to word this wrong but the best passer rating season a QB has ever had that played a game in the dome (Syracuse or opponent) is Boyd this year followed by Don McPherson in 87, then (obviously McPherson was better given the difference in eras, no comparison)

Believe it or not, the next best after that was Jake Kelchner WVU in 1993??? then Tyler Palko in 2006?? then McNabb in 1995. Bridgewater last year was probably next

here's the list of seasons, i might've missed a couple seasons with a dome game

that's just passer rating, I just thought it was interesting. Vick's passer rating in 2000 was really low, he's not even close to being on the list

Ironically when Jake Kelchner played in the Dome in 1993, I'm not sure if they threw a pass since they ran for 500 yards.

no love for PeterTom Willis??

upperdeck's stats say brad johnson caught a pass in that game.....
