GGGGGGGG-MEN

It's painful to watch. 1% of me wishes they were mathematically eliminated so I don't have to watch them next week. If they play like they have the last few weeks, next week against the Eagles could go down as one of the worst played games ever.

The other 99% of me still believes they can still defend their crown. Let's go Big Blue!!!!

I feel like those who start threads like this need to preface their post with who their team is

All we need is for Minnesota to lose next week. And Chicago. And Dallas.

And Philly.

They won the SB last year. Hard too down on them.

I'm not a Giant fan but I'd like Tommy Coughlin to do well. I wonder if the Giant fans among us could tell us what the ehck went wrong with this team? They won the SB, beat the Niners, the Packers and the Saints. Eli Manning had established himself as an elite QB. Then it all fell apart. Why?

Can't run the ball.

Can't stop the run.

Corey Webster is our only healthy CB.

2 rings in 5 years made a lot of guys fat and happy. No fire or passion from the players who the younger players needed it from. Lack of motivation - big games late in the year and everyone comes out flat.

Most importantly - terrible line play on both sides. OLine had a good stretch when Locklear was out there but he got hurt. D is one dimensional and based on a line rush, which there was almost none of so the secondary was exposed, and injured.

Neither coordinator adjusted to anything all year - from week to week or half to half.

Honestly, not much different that the past years but in 2012 they weren't able to catch fire late and make everyone forget about the issues.
