I allowed myself a fantasy today of imagining this team, after all that has happened and all that has been accomplished, cuts down the nets in New Orleans. I realized that that ambition has gone from "possbile" to "very unlikely". But the sublime nature of the thought overcame my critical faculties and I felt myself elevated to a state of enlightenment.

Now is the time to imagine this because in a few days or maybe a week the season may have come to an end with the usual thud. Of course, we can still imagine it after it becomes impossible but it gets reduced to the level of a wet dream, which isn't the same.

So go ahead and let your imagination run free while we still can. It will know just where to go.
