Otherwise this becomes Cain Colter 2.0. Northwestern employed him to scramble relentlessly against us because they new we had no idea or chance if defending him. He picked up 10-12 yards a pop with his legs like it was nothing.

0% chance this weekend if we don't QB spy him. Not only that, but it HAS to be someone from the LB level and not back at the safety level. Maybe we move a safety up to be the #4 LB ala Shamarko did a few years ago?

This is actually a situation where employing a 3-4 should help. Replace a 300 lber with an extra lb and we should be in good shape. Secondary just needs to roll coverage to the side he rolls to to take away the short pass when the lb steps up to fill. Backside de and lb need to stay home in case of screens and reverses. Bromley will be in the backfield all day which should stop any slower developing plays.

agree completely with this... Have to have faith Reddish, Whigam and co can shut down their 2nd string Wr's and make little to no room for anything to develop out of the back field. CJ Brown, albeit a competent passer, is certainly no Marino... Can't let him pick up firsts on 3rd and long...
