That much we can count on. I wonder which JB we get, National Media Sweetheart JB or Local Media Get-Off-My-Lawn JB? Place is going to be packed.

i have to think this is part of the reason that ESPN replaced schwarz with quinn - well, that and the whole baseless journalism

That is an interesting question. It'll be interesting to see how JB handles that presser. Got to be some pressure on him to hit the mute button.

Wonder if he'll address BF-related questions or only stuff directly related to the game/team.

My guess is that he will talk about the game and only the game.
Tend to agree. I could see him even giving a disclaimer statement up front that he's there to talk only about the game and nothing else.

Yep, I would bet on it. I can't picture him NOT giving a disclaimer up front about that. Otherwise, the press would go into a frenzy over Bernie Fine, and it would turn into a circus.

There's a fair chance that with out of town reporters in attendance it'll turn into a circus anyway.

I think Herman Cain's campaign manager will hold the press conference with Jake C and share a cig.

I hope JB takes questions about Bernie. That's some of the best PR we can get. "Focusing on the game" will not play well nationally. Like other have said, it will be a circus either way. The last thing we want is a headline reading "Boeheim ducks Fine Questions, focuses on winning."

He'll open up with a statement about it, fielding no questions ... then when some1 tries to get something out of him, he'll sound off

I was thinking the same thing, however I guess it depends who asks the question and how it is phrased. It's not like JB has been in hiding like JoePa. He has made his point known and has done a great job deflecting a lot of the publicity away from Bernie and the program and onto himself.

suathletics will have it up for free shortly after the game

Seeing this last graph from Bud's piece, I would think he will only speak about the game:

I've talked to ESPN, the (New York) Times and you," said Boeheim. "That's it. I'm done talking. I've released my statement. The university has released their statement."

"Coach, Bob Costas from NBC Sports. Can you talk a little about the length along the Colgate back line? They seemed to be giving you trouble throughout the game."

LOL
