I support the ban, although Ernie probably wouldn't have won this year's British Open without that putter.

They banned the anchoring of the putter. Im not sure they addressed bifurcation between amateur and pro.

At the amateur level, they need to focus on making the game EASIER not harder if they want to grow the game. I think anchoring at the amateur level should be allowed
